I appreciate it's a little different when it's your team playing but from a neutral's perspective this isn't even competitive.lardbucket wrote:Not over yet, vilks, but NZ need a wicket soon.

Vilks:
Runless out-of-form Clarke in, with softcocks Maxwell and Watson to follow. Still in the balance.

Pity Gilette don't sponsor now, there are some 1895 style beards on the NZ side.

It did. It's something they have to fix. The flashing bails are way heavier than normal bails and take more to lift. There have been 3 instances in this Gilly where batsmen have survived the ball hitting the stumps.
Aus are 40% to the target.

Aust have pulled this back to 50:50 I reckon.

50:50 what? My interest is waning with every easy single being taken. If NZ had two more wickets it could be interesting but it doesn't seem likely
Re: World Cup 2015 (IV)
You guys realise that the total is 184 and not 284? You have 8 wickets in hand. This is all over! Enjoy your 5th World Cup win chaps.

2-76; could still easily go either way.

Lardy knows his cricket. Don't forget, a tie isn't enough for Australia.

Tweek's ability to find a gap is remarkable.

Australia doesnt chase small totals well. They will find some way of giving the Kiwi's a sniff.

That's a good over for Australia. Clarke has surpassed my low expectations of him already.
