Ding-ding, calling Dello or (if still alive) M Fromage ....
Are we any nearer solving the "New Month, New Login" bug yet?
I ask because I started writing summat on the GE2015 thread last night. Didn't realise it was around 11.30/40 PM. (This was about the QT Quasi-Debates, and implications - so a bit convoluted.)
Finally made to post it, after a few edits, paragraph breaks, balances and wordings. (I try too hard, okay, but I try to make esp longer posts half-way readable for anyone misguided enough to peruse them.)
BLANK.
LOG-IN SCREEN
The 5-6 paragraphs FB has thus been spared (not going to try doing that bloody post again), were irrecoverable, by any method I tried. Page Back, Page Back twice, thrice: locked into same page. No dice. (Lolling allowed.)
Now okay .... I KNOW always foolish even to start a post of any length at all in the FB Post Box. May always freeze, or fail. Or drop out. And lost. So always, ALWAYS use an external text application, block c&p. Unless it's just a quip.
But that automatically-logged-out-every-bloody-month bug ..... has been around for time immemorial .... are we any nearer a solution? Pwease?.

Re: Ding-ding, calling Dello or (if still alive) M Fromage ....
Hello PeterCS
As far as I can tell, it is not a "bug". A new log-in is required at the beginning of every month. This is inherent to the Informe Forums. I'm not aware of any available settings to allow this to be changed (Dello may be).
Regards
Fromage

You show far too much trust in Internet browsers Petey, if ever I'm posting more than a couple of paragraphs I'll always write it in notepad first.

Same thing happened to Jim Hopper....sorry to me, when I tried and failed to compose an eloquent reply to one of your posts in that thread.
Maybe the UK GE thread is cursed Peter - the real event seems pretty f*cked so it'd make sense.
