You have more Aussies than English but I'd be hard pressed to disagree with you. And I probably would stick Neville in there for his runs which means there are 7 Aussies and 4 English. Bizarre.

Not bizarre at all. What's bizarre is the series result. England would've lost 5-0 without Root, that's how ridiculously reliant they've been on one player.
