Ashes Dream team competition
I guess a few of the users here, Aussies anyway, have had the usual email from Cricket Australia inviting them to participate in one of the Dream Team competitions.
On this forum as well as the glory of victory there is usually a battle to see if anyone can score fewer points than Ange, a feat I think I managed once.
Who's up for the competition? So far, off the board, I've had some indication from Ange, Zim, Zat, and skully that they're interested. Horrie, Fred, BD, Nath, simkat, taccy? We have two weeks to set up a league ...

What does it involve?
What's the entrance fee (plus commission)?
Is there a big fat prize?

It's happening over Christmas, the prize should be a selection box which includes a bag of Malteasers.

Re: Ashes Dream team competition
I'm trying to persuade my O/H to select an XI at random and enter.
She sometimes watches the cricket with me if she's bored ..... understands the basics but not really the finer points - but has absolutely no interest in stats & record
so I'd LMFAO if she won the league with a side selected by a "pin in the list of names" so to speak ...

stranger things have happened ... Eyes_Only nearly won the ABC competition one year and she wasn't sure if Warnie had ever taken a 'michelle' in any form of the game
