All keepers XI
LINK
A 'comic' article which examines Australia's keeping stocks following the retirement of Haddin. The writer contends that there is enough batting in the XI to challenge many FC sides, and it does look impressive on paper ... although not as impressive as it looks in T20 and 50-over disciplines.
Bowling looks a little weak, of course, and I can't help but think Trent Copeland should have been chosen, given his First Grade keeping experience for several years before he decided he should work on his bowling. Tim Zoehrer might perhaps be coaxed out of retirement to purvey some leg-spin, too?
Anyway ... we haven't had a Strange Elevens thread (all from Somerset, all Pisces) for a while, and this seemed gently provocative.

Re: All keepers XI
With a surname like Lemon, he probably HAD to be funny in school, otherwise he got bashed.

They can't all be keepers. You'd have to leave a few.

Re: All keepers XI
What good averages they have.
They should probably spend more time keeping.

Re: All keepers XI
With so many wicket keepers in the team would they really need a specialist keeper

Could keep changing the keeping every over. Fox the batting side.

Re: All keepers XI
I have never seen Tim Ludeman in action apart from the two linked videos. Is he as good with the gloves as the writer claims?
