Moeen is a specialist slip fielder (well, he is when he plays for Worcs.) and yet he's kicking his heels in the outfield.

Up until now I've always been envious of the amount of sports coverage you guys get in South Africa. Apparently it had been advertised in the guides as being shown right up until today when they announced it won't actually be shown. I'd be spewing if I was there........then I'd be desperately PM-ing Furry for a dodgy link.

Yeah get the weasely Indian when it comes to all sorts of criminal activity why didn't you. The nerve of some of you guys.
I have my dignity too you know. I gave up handing out dodgy links three years ago. Now I only take bets on who'll win the next game. Offshore cash transactions only.

Ian Bell has been a dreadful slip fielder for the last six months now.
Dreadful for his entire career. One of the best I've seen in front of the wicket, behind the wicket he's a dribbling schlep

Root should be at first slip, Stokes at second, Cook at mid off, Bell at short leg/cover.

Just bad deployment of the available resources, isn't it?
Ali should be in at slip with Root and - surely - Bairstow, given that he is allegedly a keeper. Stokes at gully, Bell at short leg, Cook at mid-on where he can't do any damage, and raffle the rest.

And there you go. Oxen ford wasn't calling him, he takes a wicket, and then Oxenford refers the no ball and it is indeed a no ball.
It's a f*cking joke and the umpires are NOT doing their job.

Then surely they should tell the ICC it is a crock of shit. What will the ICC do if they start calling no balls again?

the icc wont do anything as long as they dont start making wrong decisions because they are concentrating too long on possible no balls

Then every ball should be called by the TV ump.

Perhaps more importantly, the bowlers should sort their shit out.

Yep, I agree, and the umpires doing what they are paid to do would help the process.

IMO it's a bit weak of the bowlers to blame the umpires for their REPEATED inability to bowl legally. Just sort it out. How many wickets would you have to take off no balls before you sorted your run-up out so that it didn't happen?
