This place isn't very pleasent to visit at the moment
The differences between cultures and views points has never been more obvious and the inability/lack of willingness to try and understand some elses view point more to the fore.
I'm going to listen to Jones the Voice.

I don't have broadband- what could Tom Jones possibly be singing that would heal the festering wounds on this forum?

Re: This place isn't very pleasent to visit at the moment
Your fairness, "difference between cultures" is a convenient ruse to justify the bullsh!t that the Indian management has been spinning. Every day they change their story to a line that they believe may be more convincing to the NZ Judge. Their sooking and whining is pathetic. I watched the T20 final between Vic and WA tonight and the WA crowd absolutely gave it to the Vomits. But they just shrugged and got on with winning the game. Maybe this is the difference between Aussie sides and Indian sides. Degree of softness and sookiness. At domestic level all Aus State sides are as hard as nails. The WACA crowd was giving it to Hodge, but he was giving it to the WACA crowd just as much this evening. When things are going well, India are gods, when things are going NOT-so-well, they are soft c0cks.

Yes, Sasha, no one wants to be helpful it it's a sign of weakness....
Sorry, I don't know about parking in Trent Bridge personally so I can't help you even though I'd like to.

Go to Nottingham. You can either take a train, a bus, a car or a bicycle.

I'm a Love Albatross with a big throbbing beak. If that helps. I'm also full of love and cuddles. Now, who doesn't like that.

Yes, that's perfect example of the differences of culture, Aussies are generally hardnosed bastards who get the corners knocked off them because the enviroment they are brought up in. Indians are brought up differently and are exposed to a different way of behaving.
Who's to say one way is right and one way wrong? They're just different.

Not really but I can do a good tallon dance with jazz wings.
Re: This place isn't very pleasent to visit at the moment
Aus are more or less a homogenous society, so they don't have to bear the burden of being nice or polite with anyone.

Erm, one way seems to lead to winning , and the other leads to sooking. I wonder which is the right way.eowyn wrote:skully wrote:Your fairness, "difference between cultures" is a convenient ruse to justify the bullsh!t that the Indian management has been spinning. I'm not talking about winning a sodding game, meaty and I'm talking about cultures in general and the deliberate lack of understanding and the wilful nastiness that's pervading this forum.

Well, fark me, Doggeroo has surpassed himself in silliness. Australia is one of the most heterogenous societies around . . .

let's respect the thread-starter .. I don't think she needs to read this nastiness.
& Australia is homogenous only for past 20 yrs and that too mostly in its big cities.

I hardly know Nottingham - but I would go by train to Nottingham and then bus it to TB - saves the angst of trying to find somewhere to park.
