Pakistan were never going to go for the target so WTF did we even come out to bat this morning?? Just wasting time. Cook will look very silly if Pakistan end the day 260/9.....

Hafeez averages 20 outside of Asia. His head doesn't need f*cking with.

Pakistan 6 down at tea. They would be halfway down the M6 by now if it wasn't for Sami. He is a heck of a prospect.

Re: England v Pakistan, 3rd Test, Edgbaston, 3-7 August, 2016
At lunch on day 3 it looked like Pakistan could hammer us, the way we've played since then has been remarkable, one of the best comebacks I've seen by an England team.
Edit:I am of course assuming Pakistan don't pull off a miracle, don't usually like to speak to soon but the fat lady can't be far.
Our batting line up looks like being stronger in the next test if Vince is injured.

This is getting irritating now. 100 balls aimed at the stumps and one of them will get through, stop trying to be too clever and just hit the farking stumps.

Brilliant win. Hard to pick a man of the match but Mo was as worthy as anyone.
Hope Woakes gets man of the series as long as he doesn't have a shocker in the final test, he's definitely been the most consistent so far.

That was a proper team performance. I don't think anyone could look themselves in the mirror and think they didn't contribute.
I'm really pleased for Mo. He gets a lot of stick, but he's a vital cog in the machine.
I can't see any change in the side for The Oval assuming full fitness.
It takes two to tango though, and Pakistan gave as good as they got for the first two days.

Crikey, 1-79 to 9-151. That's some collapse.
Well done England. 5 bowlers each taking 2 wickets to go along with the team-built 2nd innings score. Bravo Engulund.

Old-fashioned Test cricket ... fortunes see-sawing, and persistence and teamwork triumphs over individual brilliance in the end.

Well I've gotta say that was a superb performance from England on the final day. Once the ball started to reverse swing just a tad, they were all over Pakistan.
Really pleased for Moeen and Finn. Moeen finally realised that tossing it up outside off stump can pay dividends.

I'm sure Colin Graves would agree that this would've made an excellent four day test match.

Looks like the English (& Welsh) ended up doing the press ups- atop Misbah's merry men.

Aye Trev. It must be very pleasing for the selectors to have stuck with them and then see them prosper.
