Well it looks like the world's doing it's best to ignore him. Might just drive the seppos further into his warm embrace.

Numerous articles (and that's what he's best at - creating column inches with his buffoonery) regarding how The Donald prefers to watch TV rather than work, leaving all up to his advisors, then tearing them new arseholes when they fark up.

Sounds like one or two bosses I've worked for.

I wonder how long it will be before he thinks this is all too hard and he can't continually make everyone love him at Prez, like he could (or so he thought) when he was just The Donald?

The Donald's latest tweet:

"The U.S. Consumer Confidence Index for December surged nearly four points to 113.7, THE HIGHEST LEVEL IN MORE THAN 15 YEARS! Thanks Donald!"

The first casualty of the Trump debacle has arrived - Michael Flynn

"Washington: Donald Trump's embattled national security adviser Michael Flynn resigned late on Monday, a dramatic early casualty in an administration hobbled by security chaos and confusion amidst a firming sense that the administration and the intelligence agencies are openly at war.

Flynn was left with nowhere to turn after being caught out – he lied to Vice President Mike Pence, insisting that he had not discussed the Obama administration's sanction on Moscow with Russia's ambassador to Washington, prompting Pence to defend him publicly. But US intelligence confirmed the lie through its eavesdropping on Flynn's phone call to the Russian embassy."

--------------------------------------------

This epidemic of lying by the new Administration has its first victim, and surely he won't be the last. Sean Spicer must be on thin ice.

But from the same article, this is scary shit...

"His [Flynn's] ignominious resignation comes amid reports that the US intelligence agencies now withhold sensitive intelligence from their presidential briefings, because this White House is not to be trusted with the nation's secrets, a follow-on from earlier inside accounts alleging that the American spy agencies had taken to advising their foreign counterparts not to share intelligence that they could not afford to have revealed by an administration that leaks like a sieve.".

There is one thing that I will agree with Trump - those bloody Mexicans!

People here in Queensland have been complaining about them for as long as I can remember. They have completely taken over the Gold Coast.

aaaaahhh...KA Conway. I find her even more remarkable than Trump.

How many bare faced lies can be told in a day?
How many times has she been called on to defend the indefensible?
She invented 'alternative facts'
she looks as tho she has absorbed world record quantities of collagen and botox.

An extraordinary human.

meanwhile I think Obama should sue Trump for the bugging claim...this way it would force Trump on to the stand and open him to interrogation.

Not sure you can sue the President. But someone, in office, should just say the obvious, "We bug foreign spies. If you don't want your schemes aired, don't talk to foreign spies".

aaahh.... so the Prez has a level of immunity (on civil and some criminal actions) like Berlusconi had in Italy.

I seem to remember that Nixon could not be prosecuted until he resigned, but when that happened they decided not to charge.

I like your line about bugging foreign spies. Presumably the alphabet agencies always know who the Russian Ambassador is meeting with. This means the Sessions' two meetings with him would be picked up anyway without bugging Trump Tower.

Of course the Trumpsters are writhing around trying to
toss out as many red herrings as possible, tho accusing Washington spying on them is de facto admission they were working with the Russkies.

Well Nixon got a "preemptive pardon". Like I said, not sure about his level of immunity. Once he's sworn in he can only be impeached.

Interesting over the next four years to see how various civil actions against his business interests pan out....there are actions still happening from the failed casinos in Atlantic City.
