Apparently* Former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows has been granted immunity by DoJ's Jack Smith to testify against Trump in his Federal case.
No confirmation yet.
This is not the Georgia RICO case.

And the fat baby Donnie is squealing... He is getting closer to a few nights in the cooler for contempt.
Meanwhile there has been a terrible mass shooting in Maine of all places, with 18 dead and counting. A 40 year old Army Reserve white chap it seems, is the culprit.
Elsewhere the Donnie Party has elected a RWNJ as Speaker after weeks of chaos.

Still all a charade, in political terms, unfortunately. If he’s alive in a year’s time he runs as the Republican candidate, and probably wins.skully wrote:Apparently* Former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows has been granted immunity by DoJ's Jack Smith to testify against Trump in his Federal case.

It’s a 70s situation comedy, in its 10th repeat season, without a single amusing or likeable character.

Re: *The United States Presidential Election * (III)
Hmmm, not sure that is particularly accurate.
Trump is one out of the box in his autocracy, buffoonery and bullshittery. It's all about making sure he looks good and is allegedly the "best ever".
His Commander-in-Chief predecessors had a modicum of "we know what the rules are and we know how important it is to stick to the script" to their efforts.
Trump just makes it up as he goes along with a view to making himself look like the King of the World.
In essence, he is a farkwit with no idea of the impact of his actions on the World.

If the Republican's don't nominate Trump for the Prez race (because he's in jail, or they wake up to themselves that he is a fraud and that MAGA is just pure bullshit), I reckon Nikki Haley would be the best bet to beat old Joe. She has way more cred than any of the other wannabees.
DeSantis is starting to get on the nose, with his high heel cowboy boots and embarrassing efforts to be more popular (e.g. attempting to smile more during the debates but comes off as a grimace).

skully wrote:Has anyone seen the horror movie "Smile". It involves a malevolent entity that possesses people and appears as various evilly smiling people that foretell the possessed person's death.
It features lots of people with creepy smiles on their faces.
The mug shot of one of Trump's co-conspirators in Georgia, Trevian Kutti, could be one of the players in that movie...
This is an extremely stupid woman.

"The Colorado Supreme Court has declared former US president Donald Trump ineligible for the White House under the constitution's insurrection clause and removed him from the state's presidential primary ballot.
The decision on Tuesday sets up a likely showdown in the nation's highest court to decide whether the frontrunner for the GOP nomination can remain in the race."

Hmm, if Trump draws enough Republican-placed US Supreme Court Judges, the Colorado ruling will be overturned.
But still, LOL @ Trump.

Apparently Taylor Swift is campaigning against Trump. If she can turn the votes against him, she’ll have achieved something noteworthy.

Hmmm....wonder if paying somebody to walk up and down Filth Avenue wearing a sandwich board proclaiming some profundity such as 'Donald Trump He's our man/If he can't save us no-one can' constitutes 'doing business in New York'?

LOL @ Vice-President hopeful Kristi Noem, who has well and truly shot herself in the foot of her ambitions by releasing an Autobiography in which she tells a story of shooting her puppy and a goat, and lies about meeting Kim Jong Un (she didn't). She also said the first thing she would do if she became Vice-President was shoot President Biden's dog Commander.
What a psychopath.

By flagging this complete mental case as even a possibility for the Veep-hood, the Trump machine is preparing the ground for their real first choice, who may be slightly but appreciably more likely to remember to try and keep at least one oar in the water at all times.
A slightly less repulsive 'compromise' candidate, like Morro saving us from the prospect of Dutton in 2018.
Somebody like the previously mentioned, on this forum and in this context, Marjorie Taylor Swift, or Marjorie Toby Greene, or whatever the hell her goddam name is...

Marco Rubio is on the orange buffoon's short list but he lives in Florida, as does Trump. This is not permitted under the Constitution.
