Still hold out some hope for Adam Zapple, who would have been a babe-in-arms as leggies go until some fat bloke called Shane something showed up and put expectations through the roof
EDIT: Notice Travis Dean, who was the last man Wrench beat for his spot 12 months ago, also continued his unconvincing start to the season. One more reason to TF MrsR looked the goods in the second dig!

Aaaaaiiieeee....all we need for the Ashes to be lost in ignominy is for Reeks FFS to make double figures.

Re: Australian Domestic Season 2017-18
Today I heard Rodney Hogg interview Chappalgae. Bloody funny interview between two wildly disparate characters.
One of many highlights was when Hoggg asked whether the NSP had noted Dutchy2s effort against the Spivs. (Hoggy had been vociferous when sok was preferred ahead of him). Chappalgae replied succinctly 'we actually wat h cricket'....very funny

Can understand his POV in a way. Lawsons commentary was woeful but the way he was dismissed was lamentable. Have to admit i found myself listening to the triple m commentary more than the ABC.
Re: Australian Domestic Season 2017-18
Jim Maxwell is unlistenable ...any worse and 9 would hire him
the expert commentary was pretty good
the best line of the weekend was during the Broad DRS review
ABC expert 1 ' you can just see a small mark on hotspot ...riiiiight ...there!!'
ABC expert 2 'mmm...that doesnt work that well on radio'

They probably realise that every one has switched the 9 commentary off and is listening on radio

How embarassing - the Dubbers have let Jordan Silk score 100.

Glawson is a poc. ABC so better off without him. Rogers is great.

Meanwhile, the might Vix have the Worriers in strife. Cue a wicket and a second innings double figure score to the worst number 6 in Test history. Heroic return demand to be made by the bnlg.

Horre as always knows his grammar: 'Pox' is actually a plural, the singular of which is 'poc'
I've heard that if you record the Lawson dulcets at 33rpm then play them back at 45, you get a noise that sounds alarmingly like the dreaded Jones..
