Looks good. Oz vs India is the big one. If India have all their quicks fit, could be a humdinger. Meanwhile Worrall says he wants to play for england in the next ashes. Bit of a joker is he? Dont think it will happen.

I’m just happy to see nearly 6 months of almost continuous Test cricket coming up, starting in a week.

Aye, Test Cricket in every month up to including January from here.

Maybe the ICC will squeeze some other Tests into Feb and March 2025, prior to Cricket World shutting down for the IPL in April and May.

Stokes has done a hammy and is in doubt for the tests against Sri Lanka. Smith and Woakes moving up one in the batting order with Potts coming in would be my guess.

So far yes. That spell in the Windies second innings in the third test is probably the best for a genuinely quick England bowler since Devon Malcolm ripped a new one for the South Africans all those years ago.

I saw a clip. He wasn’t holding anything back. It didn’t look like an action that would allow a body to stay together for very long though.

I had completly forgotten about this. Apparently in Great Noida a new suburb nr Delhi, after that NZ have 2 in SL in september, then back to India for 3 more in oct-nov, then back home to face england.

It seems many players in the Australian and Indian teams are lurching toward retirement, voluntary or enforced, as their probable meeting in the WTC approaches.

Kohli, KL Rahul, Starc, Khawaja, Smith, and Sharma all look to be circling the Test exit hole, for starters. Lyon and Hazlewood must also be at risk on age, and Cummins/Marsh/Green/Shami on injury vulnerability. Who can predict the elevens that will face off?
