South Africa v Sri Lanka, 1st Test, Durban, 13-17 February, 2019
Didn't realise this was happening.
SAffers in a spot of bother. I imagine the Kock will resurrect things.

So the Kock got them to a possibly competitive 235. Well done him.

Think there was something in the deck early on so the Lankans sent them in. Amla/Elgar unreliable when there's movement. De Kock scored his runs at a rattling rate but Lankans have started well.
Locals are playing five bowlers so QDK came in at six.

Good insight Red. I would never have thought top order batsmen could be vulnerable to the moving ball.

SAffers' class bowling line up now testing the dodgy Lankans.
SAf to end up with a handy 1st innings lead.

This Stain character, he seems useful. Can someone tell me a little about him?

The Stain has been a terrific bowler for a long time and has overcome significant bouts with injury.

Steyn was unlikely not to claim five with Elgar grassing a catch and his tendency to constantly beat the bat without reward.

"Unlucky"?
Oui.
Though Skully the way Elgar is fielding atm and with the number of plays and misses again last night, unlikely is also apposite.

Just another way Taipan of drawing attention to the fact that there were an inordinate number of play and misses and that Elgar's fielding has been shite this match.
Thought they were legitimate observations on the state of play.

Really tense finish. Lankas need twenty to win with one wicket in hand.
