Yep. After Faffs complaints about the pudding pitch in Durban, I expect the Yarps will dial in a wholly different deck.
No doubt Faff will rediscover his sweet tooth as well.

Isn't PE always a pudding pitch?

It's more Asian than African.

LOL. Part timer Karu bowls Faf last ball before Lunch. Jarps 4-fer.
I imagine The Kok may have something to say about the current state of play.

So The Kok has done well with a 50 but the rest of the Jarps haven't responded to the crisis. Will Rabada?
SAf 7-160-ish.

So the Kok once again saved the Jarps.

SA six for with a lead under 200. This looks like being a three day pitch. Again things happen quickly over there.
Lankans need 197 to win with Faf unbeaten on fifty a lone hand as SA is bundled out for 128. Their batting is diabolical at the moment with their flimsy top order.

Of course if they make these runs they will be the first ever Asian team to prevail in SA.
Sixteen wickets have fallen to this juncture on day two and we now enter the fourth innings of the match before day two has been completed.

Agree!
(interesting that Nigel prefers to copiously post in the Islam thread than post about cricket in this thread)

PE is usually lower and slower than the others. One of the issues SA faced, apart from their puke top order is that they haven't been able to get the Lankans on one of the SA tracks conducive to pace. Guess they always thought that they would be a pushover anyway,

Re: South Africa v Sri Lanka, 2nd Test, Port Elizabeth, 21-25 February, 2019
Mathematically, the Lankans are still a chance. A couple of partnerships will get them close. Still, the Yarps must still be favourite.
I wonder what the upshots will be for Saffie cricket, even if they win.
#lolgar@Elgar seems to have fallen off a cliff and Amla is now at the bottom of the cliff. Their bowling is still terrific, so no change is required there.
I wonder if questions will be asked about the captaincy? Filthy Faf is a serial cheat, appears tactically moribund when a choke is in the offing and may not have the support of other team members.
He is not in the infamy league led by Hansie but surely it is time the Yarps questioned whether it is time to cut their losses. If so, it might be time to appoint Kocky or even Steyn.

Amla, Bavuma and Elgar should all be dropped but two of those omissions will affect quotas so may be unpopular and not considered feasible.
Amla should bow out before further tarnishing his reputation.
Elgar has always been a plodder who failed to prosper in challenging conditions but now is simply not contributing with the bat and he can be a liability in the field.
Bavuma has one ton in thirty-five tests and a paltry average.

Bavuma is still leagues ahead of the Hollow Man. That said he should retire.

Lanka should be favourites, only 137 to get with eight, or maybe seven wickets in the shed.
