Re: Super Rugby 2019
Well like taips said, who knows what's in the contract. And from having been involved in (reluctantly and against my advice) a case using 116 to overturn Aboriginal disempowerment I can tell you 116 is probably not the way to go for legal redress.
Forget fringe religions the HC came down on the side of Scientology FFS (black letter law). But admitted very few ( make that none I think) protections(black letter law). Very early on it ruled against the section being used to duck legal obligations and has been upholding that view ever since.
Anyway the contract was probably signed under NSW law and the states are treated differently under116.

Re: Super Rugby 2019
Some of team mates have said they will not play with him. Benji Marshall said he would not be welcomed back in leeeeg.
Apparently* Folau wants to build his own Church. His wacko types tithe 10% of parishioner income. A 100 members would keep him floating in cash and farting through silk.
Presumably tithing is tax deductible. Another thing the radishes should look at but prolly won't. The tax free status of every religious corporation needs to be removed. Snake oil merchants like the Dalai Lamington made a motza on their visits here. His events were "free" but platoons of the deluded went through the crowds filling buckets with donations.

Plenty of rumours around that the gay Irish Leprechaun that runs Qantas has pressured RA to run Folau out of the game.

Except the other coconuts are not so stoopid as to post their views pointedly and repeatedly like Folau.

A third of the squad going on strike to defend their right to homophobia would be a new low, even for the Wobblies...

Christ on a bike. Preach love to your heart's content boys, just don't issue threats against those who couldn't give a toss about what St Paul might have said about what he thought Jesus said two thousand years ago, especially drunks.

St Paul and his vision on the road to Damascus has a lot to answer for.

Good news for Rugby Australia is that the new Shorten govt will make RA seem competent

Well it will probably have less leadership turnover than RA.

He'll appeal.
He's trying to engineer an outcome where he gets 4 years pay and rather than work for it, can use it to expend his churches.

The man is a disgrace. He'll end up making more from tithing the deluded folk who attend his tabernacles.

Vicar of Dibley reckons (with hindsight) that RA could have handled the saga better

The Dibley parish council could have handled it better. Nice pick-up though. I'd been busting my brain trying to place her.
