So, no cricket for 2 months then...
Unless the Dickinfo series tab is seriously mistaken, there is no international cricket for the next 2 months leading up to the 2019 World Cup.
English County Cricket and the IPL seems to be it from a cricket followers point of view.
Charming.

They are asleep.
This period,
for them but nought
a long nights slump.

Sounds like something Dickinson would say.

Nah bastardised my favourite author and turned a couple of his lines into what might pass for spondaic dimeter ( catalectic I think).
Though 'The Plague' has enough material appropriate to this board. Though Dickinson, the sad bitch, would provide more than a few handy allegories.

Quick beer soaked attempt mainly because I couldn't remember the exact lines from the novel. The spondaic is probably pushing it.
You were probably more on the mark with Dickinson what with her growing up next to a graveyard.

Yet there were thousands,
so they said,
but they didn't come.
It was sad.

Yeah mixing up the mono and di cats. Very cool, cool as cats. Sangria what can I say. Still on topic too.
Shit I could do more with that little lot.

No my problem is he couldn't be such. Nor could Morrison. Neither can impose their will on the party room let alone party. If the ALP can't translate votes into seats ( big if) and the sullied have a good last fortnight (unlikely with the rubes they've preselected) we're left with a weak or minority govt ( pick your colour). Shorten gets an 8 in front of his seat count or Morrison scrapes up a majority we get either a year or three to six months of euphoria before reality bites.

Then Pakistan too. Probably be interesting considering our recent run with them. Might see if England's the real deal.

Time to give him a call to help out on Brexit? Well, we might need a trade deal with Colombiahorace wrote:Bradman wrote:Then Pakistan too. Probably be interesting considering our recent run with them. Might see if England's the real deal.
