geebers Qmy get better and fark the opiates and synthetics off.... hope you are not using the bizarrely named "Lyrica" - disgusting drug.
I have been out for five days from my last bout of surgery (hopefully the very last). Have kicked the Oxy and Targin to the kerb and now just on Panadols. ( swallowed down with some Irish or bourbon).

Re: England v Australia, 1st Test, Edgbaston, 1-5 August, 2019
I forgot to ask MB his opinion on the Head dismissal last night.
When I saw the first replay I immediately called it a no ball as Stokes' back foot appeared to touch the return crease. I didn't know that law well enough to realise it's where the first contact of the foot is made. A slow-mo seemed to indicate that the trailing edge of Stokes' back foot may have touched the ground inside the line before the toe that touched the return crease. As such I was satisfied that the 3rd ump made the right call.
Opinion was very divided however.
Opinion MB?

Have been on lyrics for six years and will be on it for the rest of my life. Capsule form and combats neuropathic pain from nerve cell damage. I think I can put up with it seeing it's a result of a line of work that saw me paid obscene amounts of money for twenty years. Along with the malaria and shot liver. Certainly better than dying of old age reliving my glory days in a neighbourhood conveyancing practise.
Hope you're recovering well. I find if you mix the good gear with booze you don't get hooked.

Geez, what a broken down pair of racehorses you two are.
Good luck to you both with the health battles.

Uncommonly clever SBM offering on the subject of Australia's first innings:
'A gross from Smith, gross incompetence from most of the others'

Joel Wilson wiki page
In August 2019 he exhibited a particularly poor performance, notable in the annals of poor umpiring [8].

Time for Paine to give the gloves to Wade?

Fine flamboyant T20 intent by Roy.
Can't say the same of the shot itself, even by slogging standards.
New simile: "as rickety as an England opening bat".

Passing on the gloves from mare to filly?
Not sure if Tim thinks he's still skipper. Doesn't seem to call most of the shots. The Return of the Empire?

Re: England v Australia, 1st Test, Edgbaston, 1-5 August, 2019
They’re not going to even get to tea, are they... typical England match-saving “effort”.
Saying “that’s the way he plays” for someone like Roy is fair enough when it’s a first innings perhaps, some days it will come off... but we’re trying to bat out a day’s play, runs barely matter at all. There’s no need at all for big shots.
Joel Wilson has muppet of the match sewn up though. I think he’s equalled the individual record for decisions overturned, but the pair are one short of the overall match aggregate record. You’re letting the side down, Aleem... anyway, we need home umpires back ASAP. Wilson is scheduled to do the Lord’s Test as well, any chance the captains will collectively raise an objection?
