Congratulations to Pathan for his 100th test Wicket....
Fixed!
Congratulations to Pathan for a great achievement. Hope he gets at least 300 wickets and 3,000 runs [given his record so far in 3 odd years]

That was 99. Lee was 100th.
Nice in a way, getting the first one here and the 100th as well.

Re: Congratulations to Pathan for his 100th test Wicket....
Doremi, Hope you catch my videos.
On the topic of this thread, I was refering to the following newsbit-
On a high after taking his 100th Test wicket, Irfan Pathan on Sunday insists that the visitors still had a very strong chance of winning the ongoing fourth and final Test against Australia despite the match seemingly heading for a draw.
"Anything can happen on the last day if we can put some runs on the board. Australia has to bat last, there's not a big change in the pitch but there would surely be more turn and we have world class spinners," an elated Pathan, who became only the seventh player ever to have 100 wickets and more than 1000 runs, said after the fourth day's play.
Pathan termed the Adelaide Oval as the venue which brings happy tidings for him. He started his career here four years ago and his 100th Test wicket also came here.
"This is where I took my first wicket and when I came on this morning I wanted to make it special by taking my 100th here," he said.
Pathan dismissed outgoing Australian wicket-keeper Adam Gilchrist for his 100th scalp and said the effort with the ball was more special than scoring 1,000 runs.
"This is certainly more enjoyable and special," Pathan said.

171.2 Pathan to Lee, OUT, caught! It's Pathan's 100th Test wicket, he bowls a full ball into the right-hander, it pitches just outside off stump and seams away from Lee who tries to drive, the outside edge is comfortably taken by Dhoni

Prabhakar
Shastri
Mankad
Srinath
Bhajji
Got them all then.
Incidentally there seems to be a Harbhajan Singh [in Pakistan] as well who played one FC match for North West Frontier Province before the Partition, I think.

Yeah, I suddenly thought of Bhajji too with a good amount of 50s and 40s from memory. Thought he would be one and checked it.

He does give us the stability down the order with his bat.
Just don't like the idea of openng with him though.

Pretty handy all-round record Pathan has got. 100 wickets at 31, and 1000 runs at 31. Well done to him. Another mysterious omission from the first two Tests of this series.

When Pathan joined Bhaji and Kumble with 1000/100 double it was only the second time in history that one side had fielded 3 players with the double (excluding the World XI which had 4)

Boje got the double in his last test but Kallis was out injured that game

Good point but not quite. Bung and Dizz both cracked the double in the Bangledash series when tgm wasn't available. Dizz hasn't played since
