They’ve got a start. Pakistan 1 down early, with Taskin accounting for Shafique before he scored. Shan Masood (test average 28) is the surviving opener and captain of this rabble that was once proud Pakistan.

Bangladesh 6/36
Yikes!
They have recovered from 6/26 thanks to a gutsy 9 not out by Mehidy

Be a massive match and series win if they can do it. Amazing to win (fingers crossed) after being 6-36 in the first innings. Sort of thing that only happened in the distant past with wet wickets and reversed batting order …

Wow, go the Bangers.
This would represent a series win for BD over Pak. Has that happened before?

To answer my own question, Statsguru says BD has won series v Zimbabwe, West Indies, Ireland and Afghanistan, so this (BD beating Pak) would be a first.

According to Cricinfo:- For the first time in Bangladesh Test cricket history, their fast bowlers took all ten of the wickets in the innings yesterday.
That's not what they wrote, but I think it is what they meant.

And they win by 6 wickets from this precarious position. That must be some sort of record!!
Ferkin huzzah. Go the mighty Bangles. They have beaten Pakistan in a Test series for the 1st time.

Great win. To win by 6 wickets after being 6-26 in your first innings would have to be a record. East Pakistan (pre 1970) def West Pakistan!!

Did anyone here who watched this see this ball? "The fastest of them was Nahid Rana, who once reached 152 kph. "
I had a quick look on Cricinfo commentary & couldn't find it but there were a number of balls he delivered at 149 kph. I'm amazed that Bangladesh would produce a pace bowler capable of those speeds!

Bangers’ first innings: the highest ever Test innings score for a team losing its first 6 wickets before reaching 50.

Well played Bangladesh, but you have to wonder if Pakistan are circling the same drain as the West Indies.
