Re: Current International One Day Cricket
He was probably named in a specialty FB Spice XI side, opening with Cec Pepper. Cummins was probably in there, down the order, with Dilley, and after Mustard. The game would have to be played at the Oval, under Old Father Thyme. This is all I can remember and/or devise ...
Phil Salt
Cec Pepper

Coriander-son
Basil d'Oliveira
Phil Mustard
Trevor Bay Leaf
xx
Dilley
Cummins

I'm missing a couple still

43 ball ton to Josh Inglis to lead Aus to an unattainable 196 v Scots.

It's only Scotland (*cough* - with respect to the Kilts) but well done to Cam Green on his career best ever allround effort to claim 3-35 and make 62* to carry Aus to victory in the 3rd T20 v William Wallace's team.

Re: Current International One Day Cricket
Terrific opening show by TRavis and short. Was Topleys pride so injured by the 2 huge 6s in the 2nd over that he was unable to bowl thereafter? If you oz, def rec that Curran over to travis for a rainy day. As usual rashid our best bowler, but how often is it that 3 bowlers have hat trick ops in the same innings? So the usual crazy stuff.

Re: Current International One Day Cricket
A batter light, say the commentators? Make that about six.
Not a single proven international player in that top order, and any of the Test side’s regular top seven (along with a few injured, dropped or recently retired white ball regulars) would have improved it.

And 2 of the top order were debutants, and the other was joverton who was playing only as a batsman. is he unfit to bowl? As in the WC oz were quality above england in every dept. Salt gave the usual bullshit interview afterwards, everything was good except the result.

Re: Current International One Day Cricket
These players are mostly just auditioning here I think - Baz will want to bring in a number of his Test guys, workload permitting, and Buttler will return as well. So it’s up to them to prove they’re matchwinners rather than the sort of bits-and-pieces players that characterised English attempts at picking one-day specialists in the 90s and 00s.

A few stood up and made a case, which is what we needed from our “Carabao Cup” XI.

Re: Current International One Day Cricket
Dunno why joverton is playing if hes got a SF.
Nice of Head to give us a chance by opening the bowling with CC and Hardy, nearly returned by england when with just 1 run to win they got out trying to hit a 6.
But this OT match might not start. still raining.

Re: Current International One Day Cricket
It’s a washout, so the T20 honours are shared, and the ThrAshes come down to the JAMODI leg.
