Did not imagine I would see a good part of an Indian line up looking inept against a spinner.

I don't see any reason behind all this moaning .. Yuvraj seems well and truly farked since Aus tour began. As for Sharma he was done in by that silly saffie.
So if Yuvraj = Gen X, then that would be a correct claim.
But Yuvraj can't even run well between wickets and neither can he field well ever since he got those knee braces on.

Been impressed with Ghambir in this innings. A lovely late cut of Chuck just now.

Helluva partnership between Gambhir and Dhoni, and a great ton by the former. If the stoopid banjo weather doesn't intervene, could be good game.

And the running between the wickets was top class. Dhoni got that right.

interesting interview that harsha had with sachin thats now showing during the rain break. seems during the entire 2003 world cup he didnt have a single net session, just some throw-downs from a short distance between games. quite astonishing
gambhir played well after getting very lucky at the start. thats 3 times he's been dropped in 2 innings. could well have had two single digit scores, but now hes made over 140 runs. the second half of his innings was class

could yuvraj be looking at the end of his career? his test hopes are pretty much snuffed out for a while and if he doesnt score much in this series he could well have his odi place in doubt as well, a place that looked secure for quite a few years till recently
what is most worrying is his attitude. dhoni too has struggled on the tour but he looks like he is willing to guts it out for his team, yuvraj just looks unconcerned and without any character

Needs to sort out his shot selection, preferrably have a few sessions on that with Sehwag.
And I saw that interview as well. God.
Stoopid rain.

Game cancelled. WTF does anyone bother scheduling cricket in Brisbane at this time of the year?
