It was all just a Baldrickesque cunning plan
Offer for duelling duo to chew on
By Ben Dorries
February 05, 2008 AN Indian chewing gum manufacturer could bring a quirky end to cricket's great racial spat by doing what the game's top officials couldn't - bringing Harbhajan Singh and Andrew Symonds together.
News from India suggests a leading confectionery maker was set to offer big bucks to Harbhajan and Symonds to be the lead characters in a television advertisement. The proposed ad would show the bitter rivals promoting the gum with Harbhajan saying: "Gum Mein Hai Dum (Anyone who chews this gum can hold his ground)."
It is understood initial feelers have already been sent out to the warring cricketers and they will examine the proposal in the coming weeks

Surely the words "Maan ki" should be in there somewhere.

I still don't see how everyone has made 'Maa ki' offensive. It's not, the more risque 'maa ki aankh' is used with impunity in TV shows.

If one can call something that kids start using when in class V or VI offensive, well, I guess 'maa ki ...' is offensive.
