With some of the things she says and the amount of posts she has made on here, it's hard to look past the image of a bespectacled, drunk and spotty whale when one imagines LLL.

EDIT: I didn't even know she was a she to be honest. I'll have to reserve special sexism for her in future.

Seems a bit harsh.

Spectacles - none. Seems like the sort of thing a 4 year old would use as an insult though. Lots of posts - student, don't watch Hollyoaks and Neighbours and all the other daytime tv shows that my mates and housemates watch (apart from the odd Richard and Judy). Spend a lot of time during certain periods of the semester in the library working (especially at the moment). Get distracted (think I might have ADD). Post. I also seem to get into arguments with people which requires lots of posts. I don't save my posts up to post one long, inane, obvious, rant about how bad the English cricket team are. It all adds up. Drunk - sometimes. I'm pretty happy with my skin and I'd say I'm in pretty good shape. Play a lot of football.

Hope that helps. boozin

Seeing as we're giving our opinions on what people look like from their posts here's my take on you.

A rotund, slightly dim, yet still self righteous, little boy, sitting there in your lederhosen clutching your 10 pack of frankfurters and working yourself into a pathetic lather about Andrew Strauss being in the England side. A bit like a stupider version of Ignatius J. Reilly.

Cheers.

FFS, do you have to tell us all about your periods and how you spend those days? sook

I always thought it was Tom-ah-to, Pot-ah-to, etc. and wondered who pronounced those that way.

To-mah-to is correct but it's pronounced Po-tay-to in England. And as we invented the language we're right.

Period instead of full stop. It takes a deranged mind to do that to a language.

No, I meant, I thought it was like that in the song you were referring to, and wondered who says Tom-ah-to, Pot-ah-to, etc. So there are three ways, eh? Tom-ay-to (American), Tom-ah-to (British?), and Tom-a-to where the 'a' sound in the last one is like the 'a' in a-pple. The last one is how we learnt it.

What really rankles with me is they'll call someone like Herb Alpert 'Herb' yet still call herbs 'erbs'. It's like: "Herb, you want some erbs?". WTF???
