I found it!!!
After receiving no joy in asking fellow forummers for the name of the TV station that is broadcasting the India/SA series, I went onto some rubbish Sopcast site instead. The feed was terrible, breaking up every 3 seconds, but it did allow me to see that they were getting their feed from some TV station called "Neo Sports." So I went into the lounge and started surfing through the 600+ stations of tripe that my 25 pounds a month satellite subscription gives me.
My hopes were raised when I found an Indian news station that was doing a short report on the cricket, after which I found a Pakistani news station that was reporting on some judge that has had some effigies of him burnt (no doubt after being mistaken for a cricketer). I figured if I was getting these channels from the subcontinent, there was a good chance that this "Neo Sports" would also be out there somewhere.
After 20 minutes of surfing through some of the most bizarre HandyCam soap operas and text messaging chat channels ("NE1 want 2 chat? plz! lol," etc, etc), I reached channel 435 (listed as "Unknown" in the guide) and had a little rest. Imagine my erection when the content of the channel appeared and I was watching Neil McKenzie facing Sreesanth. Yes, I had accidentally stumbled upon the mysterious "Neo Sports" and am now able to watch every ball of the series!
After having watched this "Neo Sports" channel for the last hour and a half and seeing it constantly advertised as "The home of Indian cricket on TV," I'd like to take some time to thank all the Indian forummers who read my pleas for help identifying the broadcasting channel and decided to say absolutely nothing. Your generous assistance has been noted and I am currently waving some fingers in your general direction. You may guess which one(s).

I think it's on Sky Sports 2.
See Indian forummers? That's what you do when someone asks you a question you know the answer to - you answer them.

At least he can watch tomorrow's play. I asked my question yesterday and missed the first session due to the deafening silence.

If I don't know something .. I never let others on to that fact.
Strangling myself out of frustration, banging my head against a wall until something gives away, strangling the balls to the point of castration, tying a wire around my finger until lack of blood supply auto-amputates the limb are all options that are under consideration.
But ASK SOMEBODY .. NEVAR !

I have no idea. If I got Sky then I wouldn't have been asking which channel it's being shown on.
It's channel 435 on Firstnet Gold, which is the service I subscribe to here in the Middle East.

No, but strangely enough, my wife is at the moment. If you see here, please tell her to put the credit card down and step away from the register.
