Pick me, pick me.eowyn wrote:G.Wood wrote:eowyn wrote:It would seem that when at home I'm standing on a street corner .....
someone less pleasant than me (like tac) might suggest that that is ironic because that is where you usually stand when working
I did leave the opening there to see who'd be the first.......

Absolutely, he specialises in them.G.Wood wrote:skully wrote:Aye, too true. That's my brother's territory.G.Wood wrote:skully wrote:I tell you about irony. RD seems to be at the Mandarin Club in Chatswood.
And I'm still stuck in a backpacker hostel in Paddo.
It would be more ironic if you were stuck in a backpacker
what , the backpacker

If I weren't still bogged down in Rochdale, I'd join you.

Something about you leaving an opening.
His lack of visually sighting such an opening for a period in excess of a dozen years might account for his blushing.
Who knows with horrie ?

I think you might be mixing horrie up with RD but on the other hand seeing how there seems to be a Mrs horrie you might be right....

In fact, there have been numerous Mrs horrie's, so the silly old Roman obviously has some redeeming features (or is filthy rich!!).eowyn wrote:Merlin wrote:Something about you leaving an opening.

Re: Who is on line?
You're welcome.
I've just found my house on the satelite version of the map, it's been taken on an early summer's evening and it looks like there are people in the garden! Bit of a peculiar feeling knowing we've been watched like that.
At the moment I'm seem to be still standing on a kirbside in Northallerton, getting very wet if it's raining there too.....

And I'm still sitting on the steps of the backpackers at Paddington!! Funny, I'm more than 40 kms from that spot. I wonder why the ISPs blow around in the breeze.
