Am I in an alternate reality?
I'm so sage that you're wetting your pants.

You're so sage (in these few posts) that we're suspecting someone has hacked Mudge's account . . .Henry wrote:Am I in an alternate reality?

Uh.. No ...Just shocked you forgot to add your negative to your praise of some ozzies ...
Perhaps Roy and Pup have kicked on because of the stability of Paris at 4 ...

I would definitely prefer Hussey at 4.
My ideal line up would be...
Hughes
Jaques
Ricky P.
Hussey
Clarke
Symo
That's if Haydos doesn't recover.

I'd prefer Rogers. He's ten times the fieldsman Jaques is, and hasn't really been given a chance.

Except that everyone hates him.

Sorry to interrupt you all unzipping your pants, but Hughes is nowhere near ready for international cricket.

Don't see why not. He was pretty ready in the Pura Cup final.

That's not international cricket, is it. How many bowlers does Victoria have in the Aussie test team?

Pfft, it's not about the quality of bowlers he has faced. Talent is pretty obvious.
Reckon he would feel right at home at international level.

Emotion is irrelevant. Class and form are all that matter.JGK wrote:Except that everyone hates him.freddled gruntbuggly wrote:I'd prefer Rogers. He's ten times the fieldsman Jaques is, and hasn't really been given a chance.

What's the problem? Rogers obviously has class.

As someone once said:
Form is temporary
Class is permanent
Might have been Kim Hughes, or David Capel

Re: Hayden going home from WI - is this the end?
Time for Hussey to return to his natural place.
Might be good for him too - with his XXXS avaerge and the lack of challenge batting after Ponts and before Clarke and Lister, is Braze starting to sometimes look bored and pick up bad habits?
Which leaves Hodge in the middle order and Katich handing out the Gatorade. Except that Brad wasn't on the original guest list and Simon was, and Oz have always liked to keep the touring party sacosanct, which is admirable but surely shouldn't be set in concerte at all times? Hodge and Katich both made batting look incredibly difficult but at least Hodge hung around and made some handy runs. Kat just looked out of his depth.

How's the 'master' batsman Ricky Ponting doing these days?
Harby will be too busy bitch slapping Sreesanth to worry about his bunny
They're giving Harbee India's highest civilian honour, haven't you heard?
Because Sree is a changed man these days. Seriously.

Scored a 158 the other day. Didn't you see?
Reckon this will be the tour when he inflicts pain on the India pie chuckers.
I did. Didn't see Harby in the Windies team, though.

Aye furry, he is. I'm no advocate of solving problems with physical violence, but that one little incident seems to have made the sulky brat grow up and behave himself. Amazing.

Glad you saw that tailender. He was cheering (or at least supporting) fielders who misfielded off his balls, grimacing when he got taken, and staying focused on bowling well. Which he did. Heck, he was even smiling at batsmen who hit him into the stands.
Nerks: he must have had a sex change operation.
Edit: Bhajji has made his 'contribution' to international cricket, is what I say.

Katich was playing out of position as opener. So unless Podge puts his hand up to open Katich should be the No 5 if Hussey opens.

So, maybe we now need to find someone to give Bhajji a good thrashing . . .furriner wrote:Glad you saw that tailender.
