MOney where your mouth is time

What a farking joker.
Ain't no way on this planet that this facilitator isn't going to pick his favorites for this game......

Re: MOney where your mouth is time
I like the bit about picking the team thats best 'for England to win the game'
Yeah, like it's really important to win the game for 'England'
Andrew Miller needs to research a bit more. The IPL has already said it wouldn't offer contracts to anyone who turns down a central contract with another board.

With England's contracts coming up for renewal in September - two months before the Antigua contest - the prospect of Pietersen and his senior colleagues going freelance to maximise their earning potential might also have been nipped in the bud.

Re: MOney where your mouth is time
I'd put money on even the most out of form players getting a game in that one, from Moores current crop!
Its obvious that say Shah isn't a Moores or Vaughan boy, so how would that go down with the likes of Yawn, Bell, Wobbles if he got a game and one of those didn't, even if he deserves a spot in the side on merit!
Hardly going to pick the best side for England thats for sure!

Yeah, it's highly unlikely that Moores will suddenly drop a faithful servant like Collingwood for the game, even if he's in the shittest form imaginable. He's not going to pluck a young guy like Samit Patel out and give him his debut in the game, either. Even if he has a barn storming domestic T20 season.

Re: MOney where your mouth is time
TBH, if Collingwood doesn't get a game it'd be a travesty. He's easily one of our better T20 International players:
------------------------------------------
Batting:
337 runs @ 24.07 - S/R 141, no not outs.
Bowling:
17 Wickets @ 13.76, econ 8.66, S/R 9.5
Fielding:
The dogs bollocks.
------------------------------------------
That is a quality T20 player.

Of course not Danny. I wasn't advocating that at all.
My point about Moores Fav's is valid still. And its certainly not going to be the Best side for England! Because its not being picked at the moment IMO.

Oh yeah, I agree. I just am trying to exempt Colly from any sort of list that denigrates his T20 record so far.
The likes of Cook and Bell are mugs - utter f*cking mugs. They really don't know how lucky they are. Jokes.

Looking at last years 20/20 batting stats.
You'd have to say that in 20/20 the best team for England would have to include players like Rob Key, Wright, Patel ahead of Cook and Bell.......
Ain't ever going to happen though. Well maybe Luke Sussex!

Dave Sales. Nearing 1,000 runs. Average 39. More importantly S/R 140.
I'll say no more.

Sh.. hot S/R.
Deffo ahead of Shah in the pecking order.
Chances of being picked : minus 15.

Not guy, but guys. Think hey are an interlinked trio, who at one point or another come into intimate physical contact with each other. I cannot divulge their names though...
Moores, Vaughan and Bell

20/20 being the daft game it is you could have county clowns like Schofield, Snape & Solanki playing for half a mill for a bit of hit and giggle where proper international cricketers who have given years of great service to England like Vaughan and Hoggard for instance get sweet FA.
It's all wrong on so many levels.
