Things that irritate you, but can't do much about.

For starters:

People standing, holding hands or in conversation on elevators, on the same step and holding up others who wan't to walk up.

hmmm...why can't you do much about that?

People falling in LOVE with the line and length culture and ignoring pace

Don't know why but I am one of those guys who finds it hard to stand stationary on the elevator or travelator.

Have to admit, the old standing in the fast lane of escalators routine does give me the heeby jeebies. I'll give 'em a quick "ahem" and then a gentle shoulder if they don't give way. Qunts.

travelators at airports become pointless when people stand in the middle...

what gets my goat is cyclists riding on the footpath....I shout at them "get on the road you coward"

cyclists in general behave as if the road rules do not apply to them ...every day I see these turkeys also riding through red lights (inc through pedestrian crossings)....can't wait until i get my new motorised fogie scooter with strengthened bull bar designed to crush errent cyclists

Calls to call centres. Gripes include:

1. Making you play a stupid game while waiting - like having to type in some number into the phone or read your address to a machine. The only point of this is to waste your time while you wait.

2. Excuse 1: thats our policy, not my decision, nothing to do with me, I only work here, only obeying orders, Nurenburg defense.

3. Excuse 2: we were let down by our suppliers, we don't accept the blame for the poor service we gave you, we cut costs and don't care how it affects our service, we hold you in total contempt.
