Hello everyone

Basically, I've been out of the loop for two weeks as my band have been on tour, and, being as we're not very big, internet or tv is not forthcoming, and interesting substances are the only way to pass the time.

Anyway, if people wouldn't mind awfully filling me in on what's been going on in the world of cricket and the forum while I've been away, I'd be much obliged.

I managed to get score updates and know about Vaughan, etc, but details would be appreciated.

Also, I see Tac's back? Is he ok? Have there been any hilarious shitfests I've missed?

I'm too lazy to wade through pages and pages of threads for precious details, in essence.

Cricket - Harmison bowled loads better than his figures suggest. His influence was crucial to the outcome of the Test. KP's batting was immense, though he did his foolish get out quick rather than his book in for a biggie. Jimmy bowled well. Not a lot else, dead rubber... yawnsville.

Tac is back in Japan after beating the cancer. The tumour is yet to be removed.

Quite a few people have been auditioning for a camper version of Carry On. I concur with what Lever says about the SENO pair.

After a frankly terrifying run in with a dealer in Camden, we stuck to mostly alcohol and the herb, although a disabled chap in Nottingham gave us something he called pollen, though I'm not quite sure what it was.

Pollem. It's really soft hash. Pressed.

GBH looked like his old self. Though his old self was some stray balls that were easy to hit, in all though his usual long hostile spells and his ability to wrench out in form or set batsmen. Real lifters and snorters etc. Though, I do feel that The Oval probably helped him. Jury's out on his influence on slower pitches with less bounce.
