it was more rhetorical. the icl is extrenely secretive about everything. they dont reveal how much is their revenue, how much they have invested, how much they pay the players, how the teams are selected, how much have they sold rights for, etc etc

last year there were reports that most of the spectators were bused in, much like in our political rallies. i cant imagine its making too much money, no one in india even seems to be talking about it. wonder what the TRPs are
