I think it's Trev's attempt to get the term "Whinging Pom" back to it's normal position in the World ...

It should be noted at this point that I was right.

He looks lost on this tour. Thought he'd like the Aus pitches with true bounce.
Something's not just right with his mind. Shows in his fielding too.
I still have confidence in him though. Will not be in the league of Sachin-Rahul-Laxman but will ultimately be a good No.5 test batsman.

Meh. Yuvraj I doubt will surpass Ian Bell's mediocre test match ability!

He's weak outside his offstump so i actually thought he would struggle on these pitches.
His deficiencies aren't exposed in the shorter forms of the game that's why test cricket is test cricket.

there was speculation in media that someone close to him was very sick. I think I heard the word 'his pet dog' whom he loved very much but I am not sure I heard it right.

Especially if you go by Star News here where there was a 'news story' about it for HALF of the fricking day (probably wasn't half a day but it seemed like it).

I do not understand, how would she distract him ? At the most he would be trying to stack up some points with a long-term view to impressing her where it really matters ... in the sack.
Unless she is trying to blackmail him with some secret videos or something. I'm really confused but something's not quite right.

Re: Yuvraj Singh- His time has come in Test cricket
Yuvraj after 7 years of International cricket is still simply not good enough for tests. Sad but true. He has excelled against Pak in the sub-continent. But thing is it's doubtful he can play on really bouncy wickets or again express pace in favourable conditions. His being MuMu's bunny doesn't help either where playing spin is concerned and he was equally at sea last year on slow, low wickets in the tests in WI. Pretty awesome player to have in the T20 and ODIs. For that matter I don't think Dhoni is too better a bat in away tests either. He hasn't really looked all that good in SA, WI and Aus. I would back Karthick and Parthiv Patel as better bats in Aus, NZ or SA any day as far as tests are concerned.

Batman, At least Dhoni has the fighting ability. He can dig in if required, not for a long inning but at least to give company to a set batsman in tough conditions. Yuvraj lacks even that.

Is this the first signs that things may be returning to some form of normality - an Indian Journo (I apologise if this assumption is incorrect) bagging an Indian player?SG wrote:Good article on Yuvraj

Which means you've not read Indian journos enough.skully wrote:Is this the first signs that things may be returning to some form of normality - an Indian Journo (I apologise if this assumption is incorrect) bagging an Indian player?SG wrote:Good article on Yuvraj
And I don't think author was bagging Yuvraj in that article. He was simply stating the problems which might be plaguing Yuvraj atm.

Re: Yuvraj Singh- His time has come in Test cricket
IMO Yuvraj has lost a great great chance to cement himself in the Indian middle order. What better stage could he have asked for?
Against Australia in Australia. Even some fighting knocks in 2/4 innings would've been enough for the time being.
Sadly for him he may not get that chance again anytime soon now.
