Unusual musical collaborations Empty Unusual musical collaborations

Post by Guest Fri 29 Aug 2008, 19:25

Totally off topic but I did a cricket one last night.....

I just heard this song on the car radio and it made me think of unusual musical collaborations. Can you think of any and which ones worked, and which ones were poop?

I'll start with Dusty Springfield and the Pet Shop Boys. I think it worked.

That IS odd Winkle Spinner!

DJ, I quite like that one. I saw the programme of her learning the dance moves. She's so beautiful.

Run DMC and Aerosmith was the first I thought of.

Maybe Pavarotti and U2 on Miss Sarajevo.

While I always thought Kim Wilde was hot, I never thought she could sing. Many would probably agree.

Some Japanese tourists thought I was Kim Wilde at the airport once. It was in the days of big hair. They asked for my autograph!

Freddie Mercury & Montserrat Cabballé.

I always thought Kylie Minogue and Nick Cave was a bizarre collaboration. Given the song though I suppose they didn't make too bad a job of it.

Black Sabbath ... allegedly top of the UK charts again ... longest gap between visits to number 1.

They were always a strange musical collaboration.
