Fantastic.
Just installed the new TV in time for the rugby, league, cricket and soccer tonight.
And because of me extravagance, Mrs K isn't talking to me so I have an excuse to spend the night on the couch.

Went out last night and woke up on my brother's sofa for the nth time. Not feeling the cleverest.

Excellent
A couch which I assume is before your new 54 inch LCD display.
Excellent.
Big screen and a few tubes.
Excellent.
Big screen, a few tubes and Oz in a semi-final.
Excellent.

To be fair to Mrs K - it does sort of dominate the room.

Well, as long as you open your deep, fat wallet for your lady-wife so she can spend as much as you did on the TV for some treat for herself

The TV was me catching up to her.
One unexpected benefit of having such a huge screen is that I can realistically watch all 4 games of EPL at once on the split screen format.

Flippin heck, really? Is this digital TV coverage you're getting JGK? Are you the one, on C4, who once decribed his cute baby son's cute antics? If so, how is your baby?

Re: Good morning folks!
Currently watching cable but the TV has a built in HD digital tuner for the free to air stuff. To be honest, with EPL, cricket and rugby on all at once it is a bit overwhelming!
It might have been me talking about Baby K on C4. Actually, he is now 2 3/4 and has a worrying interest in musicals and the colour pink. On the upside though, he is a bit of a car spotter and his (well my) favourite party trick to is have him walk through a car park pointing out the various marques. His favourite varies from a Hummer to an Aston Martin!

Aww, cute, smart almost 3 year-old.
Bet, when you next visit someone with a minute screen, you'll point out the owner needs TV-overwhelming.

The Mother in law is coming over for breakfast tomorrow - I wll no doubt get the lecture about not even owning a house but spending money on an unneccesary luxury.

You must explain how necessary it is for men to watch four different sporting programmes at the same time - I'd love to hear her response
