Fark off tosser. One of the greatest Indian players has retired and all you can think off is how to run TGM down? I hope you are happy to see him go finally. So Aus scored 577 and that Clarke was left off 4 times and we fielded badly and it was Kumble's fault wasn't it? No bowler in cricket history that I CAN think of has bowled with stitches on jaw, fingers, hands for the team and taken wickets. Yet he has to be called selfish by insignificant worms who know their cricket like the stain on the back of their pants.
If you had your way, Kumble would have been dropped permanently 4 years back ahead of his very best and most successful run both at home and overseas.
People like you who claim to be great fans of Indian cricket will always live by and die with being just Sachin Tendulkar worshippers and nothing more.
Miserable Sadistic Tosser.
Do us all a favour, just go and

LOL.
He wasn't the greatest of captains, but was undoubtedly a great bowler.

With respect old fruit, the original comment was posted on Friday, fully 48 hours before the announcement. Not that it matters though, discussion on Jumbo's value as a skipper is fair enough.

I saw the time after posting but avoided editing all the same bacause the thread started deserved it any which ways. Fruityloop has been givin' ol' Jumbo a hard time all month, calling him selfish, young talent preventer and what not. He has been praying for Kumble's extinction from test cricket for 4 years now without giving him his due for his best years and since. My comments are meant to rub it in since all his BS ramblings about Kumble have been undone by Kumble's sudden but expected retirement today.....

To be fair to Anal, didn't he take the captaincy as an interim captain after Dravid gave it up? He's given Dhonut a chance to develop and cement his spot . . .

He always gave the impression that he coveted the captaincy. He put his hand up for it. Maybe he should have taken it up a few years before his bowling started declining.
He's quite articulate though.
I had to laugh re. Punter's comment about the Nagpur pitch " We don't know nothing about it."

Why let facts get in the way of this idiot's stories?Basil wrote:Batman wrote:Fark off tosser. One of the greatest Indian players has retired and all you can think off is how to run TGM down? OK, he has retired but that doesn't mean that his captaincy (very unimaginative at best) should be viewed with rose tinted glasses just because this idiot thinks so.

Looking at mirror and speaking out loud to your ownself is a sign of sure insanity. Look at your pitiful ramblings about Kumble last whole month and look at your ramblings about SRT all the time and then see who wears rosy tinted glasses.....
On the byside, I was not the one tearing SRT apart for not getting a 100 last test despite a good 68 either....
