Kiwi bowler Willie Watson was on a hat-trick during the Australia v New Zealand World Series Cup match at the SCG in November 1990, when rain brought a premature end to Australia’s innings.
Having removed Peter Taylor and Carl Rackemann with his previous two deliveries, Watson never got to complete the final ball of his over as the innings was closed.
