Johnno nearly takes Careless's head off - they're both bowling a lot of short stuff.

Sith Eff can't win now without a century from either JK or AB - and they need to pass 350 with 6 or less down and one of them still there.

Aye, if they can get one of these two soon, then we'll get the nose in front.

Doubtless red will be here any second to explain exactly how crap Smith's knock was.

(Channelling Red;) Smith needs to take a long hard look at himself. When you're as well set as ge was you don't get lazy late in the day and throw a green kid (ie Kallis) to the wolves (/channelling Red)

Saffies need some 220 odd from here I think. No reason why they can't do it. They chased the highest runs against Aus in one dayers didn't tey chasing close to 450 off 50 overs? They just need to play out the overs without losing more wickets and runs will come surely.
Any chances Captain Drunky will pull off a Dhoni in his field settings?

Re Smith and Red: Remind me: after which of Steve Waugh's 30-odd centuries did Horrie shut his cakehole?
He went out at a crucial time for his team exposing a new batsman.
Fair enough he did well in the circumstances I'll give him the thumbs up for today's performance but that doesn't mean I have to like or rate him.

You don't have to like someone to rate them.

Chopper on at the other end - two long-hops end up in the Doug Walters spot for 6 and 4.

Gripping stuff ... match evenly poised, though for my money, irrespective of what happens tonight, the match will get decided in tomorrows first session.
All Aus need are 2 more fairly quick wickets ... but it looks like hard graft for the bowlers on a wicket playing so well.
SAf by a whisker.

Kallis hits 21 runs off 5 balls to make Saffie the clear favourites.
