Graham, Keith, Kevin?
Seems a name rooted in the West Country. If you excuse the expression.

Culturally specific, you won't have heard of either, Skulls.
Nicholas P is an old-time presenter and comedy straight man here, best known for a radio show called "Just a Minute". ...
Matt Munro was an Englsih singer. His real name was Terry Parsons.
Not a lot of people know that.

Hmmm, way too tangential for this poor Antipodean, PCS. Perhaps lardy may have picked up your drift if he were about.PeterCS wrote:skully wrote:PeterCS wrote:Nicholas or Matt Monro, Skulls?

This forum is my favourite place on the internet.
Apparently, the Internet is quite large, so I'd say thats good to know.

Didn't one of the Spice Girls say, when shown the Internet for the first time, "Oh I have to get one of those"?DJ_Smerk wrote:This forum is my favourite place on the internet.

Re: So is this the best cricket forum ever?
it is certainly a forum where you can have a reasonable stoush and a laugh as well as learn something new everyday about cricket..
some days there seem to be multiple stoushes going on as some posters are somewhat argumentative... "some posters" can be defined as all subi posters, most pomgolian posters, skully, zat, embee, nerky, zimmy, taips, tac, OP, even the very mild bodyline can be argumentative.

Has it ever occurred to you that the reason you find so many posters arguentative might be that it's you as the root of the problem?

makes it tough for a gentle old bloke like me, esp like today when I find myself innocently caught up in simultaneous arguments across 4 or 5 threads

Fark me horrie. You calling other posters argumentative is like George Bush calling other world leaders dumb.
FFS.

Seems appropriate for a spot of spam:
