Pakpassion seems to be way ahead of other cricket forums in terms of popularity and players interviews(which are used by almost all major cricketing websites)
Saj and other mods over there have done an amazing job.

Used to be the best. Now not so much, the quntishness which used to be bearable is pretty much putrid nowadays.
Also we need people like the monkey back.

Player interviews?
Sounds like a great idea for the new look Flaming Bails. It's gotta increase our membership if folk hear that we have player (& other personalities) interviews.
Possibly
Red interviews Graeme Smith
Horrie interviews Simon Katich
JGK interviews Andrew Hilditch
Merlin interviews Michael Vaughan
Zat interviews Lalit Modi
Wide Wally interviews Ellyse Perry
Skully interviews Shane Watson
Trevor Mudge interviews Peter Roebuck
etc
.

Re: So is this the best cricket forum ever?
My interview with Andrew Hilditch
skully: Thanks for your time Mr Hilditch [mutters under breath - "qunt"]
Hilditch: What was that?
s: Sorry, had a tickle in my throat. So Mr Hilditch can we get your thoughts on Australia's chances of regaining the Ashes?
H: I think we are building some nice momentum towards next summer. The T20 campaign under Michael Clarke has really pointed us in the right direction.
s: [incredulous cough] Sorry, can I have some water? So you see T20 as a valuable tool to retaining the Ashes.
H: Yes, I think it has allowed Clarke to show us his maturity and enhance his ability to help Ricky Ponting to mount a strong bid to regain the Ashes.
s: And the winter Tests v Pakistan?
H: What?
s: Erm, we go to England to play 2 Tests v Pakistan on neutral soil in July.
H: Sh!t, do we? I thought we just had more hit and giggle coming up.
s: [softly] Qunt. Sorry, I really need some water. So I take it you haven't given much thought to the squad for England?
H: Um, uh, well, you know. Is that my phone ringing?
s: Fark this. [stands, headbutts Hilditch, dropping him to the floor, storms out with both arms raised triumphantly]

Re: So is this the best cricket forum ever?
Exclusive - H interviews K Snr on a variety of flaming bails topics
Interview excerpt Part 1
H...so Ksnr welcome to the Forum...I should explain Steve that you are known here by the nickname...I cannot imagine why.
Ksnr - So tell me something I don't already know
H... apologies...I forgot (condition of age) that I am the interviewer...so let me start with a simple question - We have lost the last Ashes series and various members of the current team are under some pressure, what are your views on this?
Ksnr - Pressure! Let me tell you about pressure. None of this bedraggled leaderless mob know anything about pressure. When I lead Australia and off my own bat and through my own guile we were unbeatable (even by this Forums own RD on a lonely Friday night in Ipswich).
H...So you think that the pressure is less on the team than it was in your time?
Ksnr - well durr...for starters I had a pretty ordinary attack. My quicks such as McGrath were really mediums and my slows were how can I put it in this modern day and age - really really slow on the uptake.
H...so you found captaining TGM a bit of a challenge?
Ksnr - listen you old dolt...I am the real TGM ... I have never understood why this Forum places so much credence in the peformance or utterings of that bean eating, intellectually challenged overrated leggie...my nickname for him was Less Than Ray - who was the last really competitive spinner (well straight breaker really) that Victoria that poor benighted and unsuccessful State produced
(post interview note Ray Bright was a slow left offie who had what can best be described as an ordinairy career)
H...Interesting...hmmn...you mentioned Victoria...in a later segment of our time together I hope to get your views on Oz domestic cricket..
Ksnr...great ...can we get back on topic you old blurter...
H...oops sure...you were talking about pressure...do you think our guys are able to take the heat of an Ashes series where everyting is on the line?
Ksnr - Everything on the line?...I think not....My average for starters remains at 50.00% +...Still there are a few things on the line no doubt and I am really looking forward to the series..
H... Great! So do you think Ricky is under any pressure?
Ksnr...Look this poor guy is under more pressure than one of Mark's nags when its on the uppers and Mark has plonked half of my Modi retainer on it.
The guy is a Johnny come lately to NSW and the neuron implant has not really kicked in yet...he has enjoyed a better attack than I had at my disposal and has played against ordinairy teams...yes the batting is level with my side as I am no longer being selected...
H - so really rate our batting?...
Ksnr - not really...Ricky's average is better than mine because he has had the advantage of playing at 1st drop and the opposition bowling has been so terrible that even Mark could have got a double ton.
H - what about the others in the batting lineup?
Ksnr - pretty average (most not within cooee of mine)
H - What about Simon Katich?...he really seems your heir apparent?
Ksnr - I've just noticed an unpleasant smell...does your bag need changing or has Taips just entered the forum?
H - can you answer the question?
Ksnr - I suggest you watch your tone!...Look...Fleas is a battler who has the advantage of opening the batting and not batting in the tough role of No.6...He is a thicko West Australian (yes I know you have some Latin term for that expression) just like that little gnome who had a bit of a crush on me...my concerns with him are he bats slowly, puts his own record above team goals and that he has a nasty tendency to run out his batting partners..
H...Yes...Fleas record in running between wickets is approaching your own record..what do you think about that?
Ksnr...did you see my knock at the SCG when I made a ton?...pity my team mates lost that test for me.
(episode 2 coming soon)
