It could be worse. Remember 1984-85?
The last time Australia lost five Tests in a calendar year was 1985. Which came on the back of a very black year in 1984, where there were 6 losses in a row.
Seven of those losses eleven losses in the two years came out of ten successive Tests against the West Indies. Of course, Australia's not silly enough to play consecutive home and away series against really tough opposition these days...
There was also an Ashes series in there, which went to England 3-1.
And a 2-1 series loss in Aus to NZ.
At least this time Australia's already beaten the kiwis.

Good lord.
Spare me now.
Actually, take me now, burn me at the stake.

It's really nice to see that you can joke in the face of adversity Zat. Much better than the earlier approach. Much more British!

Thanks. But never anything to worry about. I've done what has to be done about crockashitt, and will now look forward to how the Aussies can make a pigs ear out of the SCG Test.
