Is Michael Vaughan slowly destroying English Cricket?
Points to make why this might be true...
-Hangs around the dressing rooms even when not selected.
-Poor Form (cricketing terms hasn't aided the rest of the batting order)
-Caused a ruckus between current captain and current coach
-Chooses friends over players who deserve a spot (held back English cricket on a selection aspect since 2005)
-Bad repetitive PR for English Cricket (We'll have a bat, get some runs on the board, put them under pressure (at every toss), search for the positives)
-Lowers morale in County Cricket because players can play amazingly for a whole season to only get into the ODI squad, thanks to Vaughan. Nowhere near the test squad.

No-one has ever PM'd me about anything.
I'm just concerned that theres a lot of problems in cricket and Vaughan appears to be at the centre of them.

If it's not only Michael Vaughan, then its a combination of Moores/Fletcher and Vaughan.

Is it time for English Cricket to let Vaughan go?
Or are we still that clingy that we need his "captaincy and tactical skills".
We need his 'beautiful stroke play' because that is how the game is played and won. However, this has deserted him for now...

Re: Is Michael Vaughan slowly destroying English Cricket?
Fark me.
Vaughan stood down the best part of half a year ago as the most successful Test captain in English history.
Since then he has gone back to being a foot soldier and is now trying to force his way back into the side as a player.
Nothing wrong with that if he feels he has something to offer, and quite right that he should continue to do so until someone tells him that he definitely hasn't.
If the fact that he is doing that causes problems within the dressing room or the wider England camp in general, then that is a fault of management, not the player.
Step forward and take a bow Peter Mooronic.

Points validly noted BBB, but the next coach of England needs a bit of nous and a pair of gonads to tell Vaughan when he is not needed.
Seems Moores doesn't have the guts to tell Vaughan to Fark off out the dressing room when he isn't even selected.

I notice he turned up in India and the Caribbean for various reasons when he wasn't with the main squad. He was also seen to be a rather deleterious influence during the last Ashes tour downunder.
