Why can't they cut the cord and get rid of Shoaib for good? This is surely his last series in a Pakistan shirt unless he produces a match winning performance. The guy is far more trouble than he's worth.

Shoaib vs Shoaib!

A hasn't bowled too well in the 2 games but not sure why M went running to the media while in the middle of a series.

but yes i have been saying for a while that Shoaib, Yousuf or Asif are certainly NOT needed in ODIs

Trying to fire Shoaib up for the deciding game?

Meh, Shoaib seems to be the one constant when it comes to in-fighting in the Pakistani team. I don't think Malike is so bad, but I do think that Younis Khan would be a better skipper.

He has learnt that art from his predecessors too(the 2 Ws)

PCB is too corrupt of an organization for a person like Younis Khan to prosper.

Given that this country only seems to have about twenty names that get shared around in various combinations, it's probably a good policy to give both names...

Faisal,

What happened to that young pace bowler who was fairly quick? Sohail Khan it was I think, not sure though.

Why are they not giving chance to youngsters?

because lately the likes of Rao, Gul and Tanvir had been doing a great job.

but eventually Sohail Khan, M Talha and M Aamir will take over if they stay fit

And there's also that guy who was swinging the ball around corners at the 2006 youth world cup. Can't remember his name though.

Not many batsmen these days can play good swing bowling. Sohail Khan was hyped up quite a lot but I thought he was quite disappointing when he was given his chance. Didn't do a great deal with the ball, and a top speed of about 140kph.

He is definately 90+

I clearly remember in the ODI vs BAN his SLOWEST ball of the 1st over was 140 KPH and the fastest being clearly over 90+.

How great!! Bowlers bowling at 90 miles in domestic cricket!!

In India we have plenty of swing bowlers, some quite accurate. But none of them bowl even in 130s, forget about 140s!!

to be fair IND never really focused on fast bowling(or bowling in general) as much as they should have.

In PAK we use to have a lot more 140+ KPH bowlers but now there are only 5 at most.
