Mainly for UK forummers
Check out an article in the Guardian about TV Rights. Andy Burnham (our beloved Sports Minister) wants international 20/20 matches listed, in other words exclusively available to terrestrial TV.

Good and bad I reckon - haven't seen the article yet
Cricket on Terrestrial TV would have to be a good thing, given how little coverage it gets these days...
T20 probably fits their schedule too - 3 hours rather than having to commit to 8 hours and then chopping the last half hour off to show some shocking soap.
But it's farking T20 isn't it? Better than nothing I suppose...

Trouble is - take 20/20 off Sky, and will they still commit to Test Cricket?

T20?
What percentage of the population is going to have the ability to watch the Ashes 'live' this summer? That's the real question.

A marmite eating contest would do the job just as easily!

Couldn't say, but aren't the doomsayers who said that support for the game would atrophy once there was no live cricket on terrestrial TV wrong? The latest attendance figures would not support that.
