Time to rebuild methinks, get rid of the prima donnas, England were shocking in the 1st half and were lucky to get back into the game with that dodgy penalty.

I don't understand why Carson was picked? Green has been in fine form for West Ham.

Green might've been worth a look at, but he's a total liability when the ball is crossed high into the box.

Bottom line is, all of England's goalkeeping options at present are seriously poor.

Carson will probably be decent in time - he's got good attributes.

Chucking him in at the deep end, in a must-not-lose game in wet and slipperly conditions must rank as a pretty wild gamble, though.

Could not have done worser than Carson today and Robinson is just as bad or worser than Green with crosses.

I think Foster will the next Eng keeper, once he get's a chance to show what he can do when Van Der Saar retires.

Foster's in the Carson catagory of having some very good attributes, but a long way from being a proven performer.

Would've been interesting to see how he shaped up this season if he hadn't had such a serious knee injury.

Maybe he can't make them play with flair, but he can atleast make them try and look like they are playing like a team, if only Eng had the team spirit of the Scots.

People seemed to dislike Sven but atleast he made Eng damn hard to beat.

Newcastle 0 Liverpool 3

No lie, could've been 10-0, Torres missing 5 clear chances.

Geordie fans booing Steve Gerrard, muppets.

And to think England could have appointed Sam Allardyce and his brand of football. I didn't think it possible but they've just made Wednesdays performance look organised!

Is there any football club that would admit to NOT having the best supporters in the world?

Just imagine the consternation - packed press conference at OT, and up steps Fergie to say "actually, our supporters are a bunch of dumb w@nkers who know less about football than an Eskimo does about sunburn"

This from the Beeb footie site:

" Rumour has it that Goodison Park will be treated to a visit from an extra-special guest at half-time. Yes, Mr Testicles is taking time out from his busy schedule to say hello to the boys and girls at Goodison. he's the mascot for the Male cancer Awareness Campaign before you text in your jokes"

Mr Testicles? Sounds like the Mister Men for grown-ups.

FFS. Miller has a perfectly good goal disallowed for offside when Chelsea are one up. It wasn't offside. It wasn't even close. Then Chelsea foul Giles Barnes and score at the other end.

Joke.

But if I head for the hills, won't my testicles be along for the ride?

If I want to get away from them, more drastic measures (and a meat cleaver) are needed...
