Official Dubber bias media beat up thread.
While the Dubber chip wrappers are famous for pushing the case of anyone wearing the baggy blue for national colours, some people in other parts may not realise just how much they do it. Herewith, a place to put links to the drivel that Sydney's Daily Telegraph and SMH put out.

Geographically, I live in dubberland, but I am a child of the universe, and reside where the truth must be spoken.

"Their arms are nearly falling off throwing balls to him all the time,'' Mott said.
Well, it sounds like perfect practice.

Today's Dubber Telegraph offering... http://www.news.com.au/dailytelegraph/story/0,22049,22571902-5006069,00.html
FORMER cricketing great Allan Border can find no place for Blues stars Phil Jaques and Stuart MacGill in the Australian team for the first Test of the summer.
Border feels Australia's best first Test team against Sri Lanka for the pace-friendly Gabba next month would include blossoming paceman Mitchell Johnson and Shaun Tait ahead of controversial slow bowler MacGill, with Mike Hussey reinstated as an opener.
MacGill performed soundly on the recent Australia A tour of Pakistan but struggled physically and mentally and was fined after one of his sadly familiar temper tantrums in the second four-dayer against Pakistan A in Lahore.
Cricket Australia has had a complete bellyful of MacGill, but he is expected to be in Australia's first Test 12.
(more in link)
In the print version (but sadly not the online) is the headline "Thank God Allan Border is no longer a Test selector"

Re: Official Dubber bias media beat up thread.
cheers all round for the spiv media...it sure is that time of year when the Tele et al get especially parochial...all good speed to the spiv media whose efforts will again end up with the dubbers being the Shield Chumps....I do not give a rats whether their efforts as usual result in a weaker Oz team - given I do not care if we beat the paks or the windies

I won't care if we beat either of them, but I'll be mightily pissed off if we lose to either of them.
