Lewis Hamilton
Gutted when he crashed out in the pit lane today, was watching it live, he was helpless. Why is slightly off the pit lane full of sand, yet on the track there isn't any sand for 50 metres or something?
Should have been brought in a couple of laps earlier.

Re: Lewis Hamilton
Only needs to come second in the last race doesn't he? I wouldn't be to worried other than the prospect of Massa being told to take him out.

Like all good English sportsman, he's going to bottle it. And one of those two boring, whinging, miserable sods will win it.

Re: Lewis Hamilton
I don't think he will bottle it. If anything he was too brave staying out on worn tyres when he should have asked for an early pit stop. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed.

I don't believe he will bottle it either.
He's razor sharp and bloody cool under pressure ... for a rookie in his first season. A mix of Hunt and Lauda IMO
Maclaren really cocked that call badly yesterday .. calling him in 2 laps too late.

Probably not the best week to be making statements like that, mate.

Yeah, why not. Schumacher was a sooky cheat.
Re: Lewis Hamilton
He seems cool under pressure. Hopefully he'll win...
His car was sliding all over the place, just knew he'd crash out at some point.

He. was. not. Yeah he looked and acted like a sook, but then he always looked like he was an arrogant drama queen, and when ever did he cheat?

Adelade 1994: One point ahead of Damon Hill going into the final round of the world championship, having run wide and given Hill an overtaking opportunity which would not only have taken him into the lead but also put him into a position to win the whole championship, Schumacher turned in on him and took him out, breaking his suspension and forcing his retirement - an act that 'won' him the title.
Jerez 1997: At the 1997 European Grand Prix at Jerez, the last race of the season, Schumacher led another driver, this time Jacques Villeneuve, by one point in the Drivers' Championship. Although Schumacher and Villeneuve had set the same time during qualifying, the Canadian driver started the race in pole position due to his being the first to set the time. By the first corner of the race, Schumacher was ahead of Villeneuve. On lap 48, Villeneuve passed Schumacher at the Dry Sac Corner. As he did so, Schumacher turned into the Williams, the right-front wheel of Schumacher's Ferrari hitting the left sidepod of Villeneuve's car. Schumacher retired from the race immediately while Villeneuve was able to finish the race in the third place, taking four points and so becoming the World Champion.
Two weeks after the race, Schumacher was excluded from the results for the season after a FIA disciplinary hearing disqualified him, finding that his "manoeuvre was an instinctive reaction and although deliberate not made with malice or premeditation. It was a serious error." Schumacher accepted the decision and admitted having made a mistake.
-- he was a great driver. But he was also dirty.
Re: Lewis Hamilton
Yeah, yeah, and the 'team orders' given to Barrichello at the Austrian GP and last year's incident with Alonso, but could all these not be deemed 'human errors'? I've seen the footage of some of these incidents and his mistakes seem real mooth and hence possibly unintentional to me. As the FIA report says, the Villenueve one was instinctive - so how could it be deliberate as in consciously deliberate? You've got to give people, esp. proven champions, the benefit of the doubt.
