Yeah. What has his race got to do with the fact that he dropped the catch?
We dont say : McKenzie dropped 5 sitters during the last 5 matches. Europeans can't catch.
When will you people learn?

I for one endorsed Amla's credentials. Taipan is racist.

Looks like Kallis was right not to appeal this time! Phew, that was close.

WTF was Katich doing not telling Hughes to ask for a review of that one?

Very similar 2nd hour to the first. Aus on top in the first 30 minutes than all Yarps in the 2nd 30 minutes.
Hughes should've referred but he showed little respect to Harris. Was dropped off a wild slash then got hit somewhere near the stumps sweeping.
2-66 is not a flash start with a short batting line up. 250 will be a good score from here. 300 will be gold. Saffies ahead on points.

Meh, it was his normal Harry hardhands mixed with a bit of Larry the lunger that he combos in every innings. Get the ball in the right spot and he'll nudge one to weeper of slips every time.JGK wrote:Ponting's form is a worry.

The key with Punter is to get him early. He's so vulnerable with his hard hands, and back and across technique. But with the SA fielders' incompetence and a bit of luck with umpiring occasionally, he's come through this summer all right on balance, if not the dominating Punter of old.

I did chuckle to myself. From an Aussie perspective, the key is to get him late.taipan wrote:Red wrote:The key with Punter is to get him early.

Best of all is to get him with a substitute fielder.

He more than most can make you pay though and gets better than most once he's past his early hump. Not all batsmen are like that.

True, some batsmen really hurt you when you get them early.
