Well, I've just winced through the 'Saffa Debrief'. Maybe I'm too old to appreciate their style? Maybe they don't sound like air-headed oinks when they talk about Leeg? Maybe they're just pretending to be Reds-in-training? Or maybe I'm just too prejudiced against them by their insistence on 'Saffa', which is just plain WRONG.Eric Air Emu wrote:[This is Rachel]
taily,
For once, I would love to hear your view.
Mind, I've just finished a course of root canal therapy and, apart from the bill, the world now looks a better place, so maybe it's a good thing I read that tonight and not a few days ago.
Oh, and with regard to your other comment: "CA will not be allowing negative comments to appear on these pages if they don't have a valid point to make." (my italics)
All depends what they feel is a valid point . . .

Well looking at their rugby league site, they were better there because they weren't edited. Without the swearing and borderline libellous remarks, their 'schtick' is reduced to airhead burblings.
Unfortunately, this is a problem with bloggers-turned-writers. The thing that made them worth reading - their ability to have their own agenda and not that of the company they are working for - is the first thing for the chop once they go 'legit'.

Well, their 'column' is supposed to attract a new audience to cricket.
If the game needs more empty-headed morons to come along and watch it, then it might achieve that.
What an achievement.

Snigger...
Posted by BBB at 01/04/2009 07:06 AMHey! What a breath of fresh air you guys are! Best of luck with all the blogging, and love the cool phrase 'hetero life mates'. So how are your cricketing skills on the beach? When presented with a row of middle stumps, do you reckon you could knock one out?
Sarcasm and sexual innuendo completely passed the censors by.

Re: Kiki and Sassy to blog for Cricket Australia
CBF to read whetehr this was mentioned before, but they now have their own site.
http://www.sheknowstherules.com/
Full of glaring errors and ommissions.
Which should go a long way to helping women who use the site to 'learn about sport' sound even less knowledgeable than they are.
I tried to send them some 'feedback' but the send button doesn't seem to actually do anything. Maybe they've already blocked my IP...
Anyway, have a look, virtual minite to the best stuff up you can find there.
By the way, the site is apparently supported by Cricket Australia. No wonder we lost the f*cking Ashes, the people in charge of the game in this country have taken their eye well and truly off the ball...

Re: Kiki and Sassy to blog for Cricket Australia
Who or what is a Kikki & Sassy?
I've seen these innocuous posts on the Cric Oz site but I've never understood the relevance (if any). It just seems like a total waste of bandwidth to me. What is it supposed to represent?
WTF ARE THESE @RSEHOLES??
