He's entitled to his opinion, tho he does admit his favourite Radiohead album is their first...and that came out in 1993.

Found this a little odd:

In Rainbows is Radiohead's seventh studio album, and the
style has not changed much from their last three - Kid A, Amnesiac and
Hail to the Thief.

The style of Kid A and Amnesiac are similar and a departure from their first 2 or 3 albums, but Hail to the Thief had them returning to a more guitar driven sound, and that trend has continued with this latest offering.

I read a fan site today that was calling it 'the best Radiohead album'.

There's a huge uproar on the blogosphere regarding the low quality of the downloadable release - 160 Kbps - and something that was announced just a day before the release, after most buyers had paid for it. Something questioning their real motive behind this strategy.

Just downloaded and listened to the whole thing - mind-blowing. It can only get better.
