Confidently telling his players to come off the field, getting a little nervous when word comes through that maybe England actually won, and finally sheepishly looks at his sheets one last time in an "But I was sure we'd won, sobby dobby kind of way.

HAHA.

It's bad luck that the poor Windies players have an Aussie ignoramus as a coach.

I actually rather liked Dyson as a player. He got a ton in Headingley '81 and another to hold off Holding-Croft-Garner-Clarke.

Dyson was thought to be in the running for the England coach's job. Is it possible that he has managed to lose two jobs simultaneously?

Well, at least this was just a relatively meaningless JAMODI, and the first match of a series of five. The SA cock-up knocked them out of their home World Cup at the first hurdle so still takes some beating...
