Re: Franger Cup 2007/2008
Aye tac. Dubber tail starts at #5. What a fielding effort by Buck. That magnificent save (converted a six into a one) was the difference. I can't believe the Dubber selectors can't find more than 2 top class bats (Frog and Fleas) in Spiv Grade cricket. Lambert and Cowan are a classic Grade FTBs, never heard of Forest, and Dom Thornley seems to be off the pace this year. And that fat slug keeper Smith is a joke.tac wrote:WTF? We have our 7-man tail to come . . .
Still, well done to the Wozzies. 268 didn't look to be totally safe. In the end it was just good enough, thanks to some brain freezes in the Dubber middle order and some excellent death bowling by Dorey and Eddo.

Sweet win, especially since there was a group of dubber wankers sitting in front of us (right where Quota took the 'catch' off the last ball of the day)...
We should have made 280, 290 but Eddo and Nemo bowled well...

Who've they got?
Packman and Hughes next up I guess ...
They should probably try to recruit Crossthwaite as well.

They should start calling Richard Chee Quee, Brad McNamara, Greg Matthews and Shane Lee. I'm sure Shane Lee would fill in if you bought him a pizza.

Siddle has looked very good every time I've seen him.

"Over 2.4: Tait to Klinger, OUT, good length outside off again, Klinger pushes forward and gets an edge to Elliott at second slip"
